England players set for Summer in Marbella

I just read this article on the Mirror website. It seems like a fairly harsh assessment of some of the players that were put out to face Brazil at the weekend. I didn’t see much of the game so I can’t comment on that particular performance but I’m sure the likes of Jermaine Jenas, Joleon Lescott and Darren Bent will be contenders for a place in the World Cup squad.
So we might be relying on the Irish boys to keep the party scene lively in the Costa del Sol next summer, having been knocked out to France last night! To be fair they put in a great effort and had it not been for Henry’s ‘hand of God’ assist they could well have been booking flights to South Africa this morning.
