British pop sensation Pixie Lott was spotted getting a little bit frisky with a female friend in Marbella last week according to the News of the World. The 19 year old has been enjoying a relaxing holiday in Marbella’s luxurious Sisu Boutique Hotel with a pal and close friend and fellow chart topper Chipmunk.

However Chipmunk was sidelined whilst Pixie and her pal enjoyed a kinky session in the hotel pool, according to the report they locked their tanned legs around each other as they gossiped in the pool. Then later whilst sunbathing Pixie stretched her bikini-clad body over her friend’s naked tummy.

It might not seem like a typical choice of holiday destination for the First Lady of the USA but Michelle Obama will arrive on the Costa del Sol tomorrow to take in a relaxing four day break with her nine year old daughter Sasha.

Michelle, Sasha and their entourage will be staying in a luxury Marbella hotel and are expected to visit King Juan Carlos and Queen Sophia of Spain. However the White House have denied reports that Mrs Obama will be joined by president Barack Obama who will instead by celebrating his 49th Brithday at home along in the US.

After announcing a crack down on illegal street traders last week it seems that Marbella City Council is on a mission to clean up the city’s reputation by announcing further enforcement, this time on illegal beach massages. When it comes to offering massages we often think of seedy clubs offering massages behind blacked-out windows but what’s been going on across Marbella’s beaches is less sinister. It’s simply a case that unlicensed and unqualified masseurs are selling massage services to beach-goers.

A new law banning them from the beaches was introduced last year, however it hasn’t reduced the number of them operating in the area with 24 fines handed out in the last month alone and figures suggest a further 1,300 messages have been stopped since the 15th of June.

Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe has been hanging out at Nikki Beach in Marbella this week as she posed in some sexy swimsuits for a poolside calendar photoshoot.

With news that Jennifer has been offered a place on this years Strictly Come Dancing series, it seems that she is enjoying a relaxing time on the Costa del Sol before returning to her hectic schedule back in Britain. If she does appear on the show she will be following in the footsteps of fellow Hollyoaks star Ricky Whittle, who got to the ‘Strictly’ finals last year.

Beach-goers in Marbella will be issued specially designed ashtrays in an attempt to keep the beaches across the region clean and tidy during the peak summer holiday season. The initative which is being sponsored by Nestlé and Relusur will see 15,000 ashtrays given out throughout July and August.

The ashtrays will be issued at entrances to the beaches and by sunbed workers across Marbella. The project has two aims, firstly to keep the beaches clean and safe for visitors and secondly to make smokers conscious of the littering effect caused by not using one of the beach ashtrays.

The amazing octopus that correctly predicted Spain would win the World Cup has been given a special present for his amazing predictions throughout the tournament. The English born octopus, who now lives in a German aquarium, correctly predicted the results of eight matches during the World Cup with a 100% success rate.

The octopus who goes by the name of Paul correctly predicted all seven of Germany’s matches during the World Cup as well as the final between the Netherlands and Spain.

Reality TV star and former band member of Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona has been snapped enjoying a raunchy kiss on the street with her new man Adam Waldron whilst on holiday in Marbella this week. The couple allegedly met on social networking website Facebook back in May this year, but it’s still early days for the pair as Kerry has a reputation for often cutting relationships short.

If you were contacted by a good friend who was stuck in a hotel in Spain because they couldn’t settle the final bill as they’d lost their wallet would you be willing to help them out? Well the chances are that if they contacted you by email alarm bells would probably start to ring, for a start it’s hardly the fastest way to contact someone in an emergency. If that wasn’t enough to doubt the authenticity of the claim then perhaps the fact that the ‘good friend’ was actually stuck in Real Madrid rather than Madrid would give it away!

It seems that one resort on Spain’s sunny coastline has had enough of scantly clad British teenagers walking the streets and have now vowed to clamp down on such behaviour.  Salou on the Costa Daurada to the south of Barcelona has issued a new law that means anyone walking the streets or visiting bars and restaurants, other than those on the beachfront, deemed to be inappropriately dressed could face a fine of up to £245!

The new ruling comes after locals complained about the rowdy behaviour of British students that attended the Saloufest festival during  the Easter holidays. It appears that Spaniards are becoming increasingly frustrated that British holidaymakers think it’s appropriate to walk around the town centre wearing nothing but beachwear.

Bollywood superstar and former Celebrity Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty recently declared that her favourite holiday was spent in Marbella. In an article for the telegraph.co.uk Shilpa revealed that a New Years break in Marbella’s ultra luxurious Mabrella Club hotel with her husband Raj was her favourite holiday of all time. Describing her room Shilpa said it was like a villa, and had its own swimming pool! Shilpa is clearly a fan of Spain adding that she loves the weather on the Costa del Sol.
